CourtesyCoop was built as a personal, private space for thinking about the people you care about — so it was designed, from the very first line of code, to collect nothing at all. Everything you enter lives entirely on your own device. There are no accounts, no servers, and no copies of your circle anywhere but with you. This policy explains exactly what that means.

Information We Collect
CourtesyCoop collects nothing. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or photos. There is no sign-up screen, no login, and no profile to create — the app simply opens and works.

How We Use Information
Because nothing is ever collected, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, share, or sell. We have no advertising engine, no behavioral profiling, and no way to know what you write about the people in your circle.

Data Storage
Every person in your circle, every note about a kindness, and every gesture suggestion you save is stored locally, in the app's storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a server, synced to a cloud account, or backed up by us — we simply don't operate the kind of infrastructure that could receive it.

Third-Party Services
CourtesyCoop contains no third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or hidden trackers. No software development kit inside the app quietly reports back to anyone. The app has no way of knowing when you open it, what you write, or who is in your circle — and neither do we.

Data Security
Because your notes about the people you care about never leave your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database that could ever be breached. The security of your circle is, quite literally, the security of your own phone.

Children's Privacy
CourtesyCoop is not directed at children, and because the app collects no personal information from any user regardless of age, there is simply nothing to gather, store, or expose. We follow the spirit of children's privacy laws such as COPPA by design, not just by policy.

Your Control
You are always in complete control of your circle. Since there are no accounts, there is nothing stored on our end for us to retrieve, restore, or hand over. If you delete the app from your device, every person, note, and suggestion is removed permanently and immediately.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy is ever updated, the revised version will be published here with a new effective date. Continuing to use CourtesyCoop after a change means you accept the update. Since we still won't be collecting anything, we expect future changes to be rare and minor.
